Educational Program: The Novelis Project |
| Mission Statement: To support music education and cross cultural arts awareness in communities in the United States and abroad exchanging cultural experiences playing music that will promote multicultural awareness. |
| Vision: To develop an educational outreach program giving lectured concerts in music schools, houses of culture and concert halls in foreign countries and in the United States. |
| Company Business GOAL: The NOVELIS Project is a non-profit organization whose educational outreach program will promote music from other cultures. Concerts will be given for free and/or at a minimal cost donating the proceeds to help support the house of culture and /or location where the concert would be taking place. |
| Objectives: In order to accomplish our goal as educators, we must have the financial support of sponsors that will be willing to support our cause. We need financial assistance to help cover the cost of travel, plane tickets, food and lodging as well as publicity and the purchase of sheet music and other related items. |
Performance/Tour Plan |
| First-year Goal: To travel to a foreign country to test our vision and mission statement. This goal had already been accomplished this past July 2007 when we visited Honduras giving a tour that lasted ten days giving seven concerts in the cities of San Pedro Sula, Tela, El Progreso, La Esperanza, Gracias and Santa Rosa de Copan. |
| Five-year Goal: To be able to travel during the summer time to different countries abroad being able to share our music promoting multicultural awareness. Countries of interests are: Guatemala, Costa Rica, Venezuela, Peru, Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, Argentina, Chile and Spain. |
