| What type of music do you play? We have a wide range of music from the classics of Mozart, Bach, Handel, and Vivaldi; film music; popular groups such as the Beatles, and others. Our extensive repertoire includes Irish Tunes, Waltz, Tango and much more. We will be happy to share with you any of these pieces in the process of selecting your music for your very special event. We also have online previews of some of our most popular selections. |
| Do you honor special requests? We honor special requests from our clients if the music is available in our repertoire or if the client provides us with a score. We have a composer/arranger who does arrangements for special requests at a very reasonable rate per arrangement. However, please keep in mind that not all types of music can be adapted to the sound of a string quartet. |
| Which combination of instruments do you recommend for my event? A string quartet makes the fullest and richest sound and is the one we would most recommend, especially for weddings or events with a large group of guests. We recomend a string Trio (two violins and a cello or violin,viola and cello) for a medium-sized event of about 100 to 150 guests. Although the sound of a string trio is not as full as the sound of a string quartet, it makes a beautiful harmony and adds a touch of elegance to your event. We only recommend a string duo (violin and Cello) for very small and intimate weddings and when budget is a concern. |
| How do I book you for my event? Once you decide you are ready to hire us, all you need to do is send our manager this quote request form, letting her know that you will proceed with a reservation for our service on your very special day. Our manager will then send you a contract that will clearly define all the details of the services we will provide including price, location, date & time, etc. You will be asked to return the original signed contract along with a fifty percent deposit. The other fifty percent payment is due ten days prior to your event. We do this simply because we don't want you to have to handle money on the day of your grand event, we want you to just enjoy your special time to the sound of our music. However, you have the option to pay on the day the services are rendered if you so prefer. |
